Depending on your location, you may have a choice of medical plans. Our premier plan is the Health Plans Inc PPO. Employee contributes 10% of the cost for individual coverage and 25% contribution for dependant care coverage.
Cummins Northeast offers the Guardian Dental Plan. Employees contribute 50% of the cost of this benefit.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Disability
Cummins Northeast provides life insurance benefits at no cost to the employee. This benefit is equivalent to one times your annual salary with a maximum benefit of $50,000. This is 100% company paid benefit.
Long Term Disability
To help protect you against loss of income due to disability, a long term disability program is available. Employees contribute 50% of the cost of this benefit. This benefit may not apply to all employees.
Short Term Disability
Cummins Northeast provides short term disability benefits at no cost to the employee. Benefits vary by location.
To help you plan for your retirement, employees are eligible to participate in Cummins Northeast Capital Accumulation Plan with Prudential. There are several investment options for you to choose from. You are 100% vested from your first day on the plan. It is a Company Matched plan with .60/$1.00 up to 6% contributed each quarter.
Employee Assistance Program
Cummins Northeast provides and Employee Assistance Program through our insurer, UNUM. This program can help address the problems that affect your life and health including medical, financial, legal, drug, alcohol and family counseling services.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
Cummins Northeast is committed to supporting our employees’ continuing education. We have a reimbursement program that allows for a maximum of $2000/year (lifetime max $10,000) to be reimbursed to employee for approved courses. There are additional requirments that need to be met prior to allowing this benefit
